Coaching: the missing skill in many leaders’ toolkit

Thanks to support from Tracey Turmel of C I E Coaching we are delighted to welcome Tracy Sinclair to Jersey.
Tracy is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is also a trained Coaching Supervisor, Mentor Coach and an ICF Assessor. She trains coaches and works with managers and leaders to develop their coaching capability. Tracy also specialises in working with organisations to support them develop coaching culture. She currently sits on various UK, EMEA and Global ICF working groups to promote and enhance professional coaching. Tracy was the President of the UK ICF from 2013-2014 and has been a ICF Global Board Director since 2016, serving as Treasurer in 2017, Global Chair in 2018 and currently holding the position of Immediate Past Global Chair.
This session will initially explore what coaching is and how it fits into the leaders’ toolkit and skillset. We will also share the key skills and competencies of a manager or leader demonstrating good coaching skills. We will then look at what current research is telling us about the role and impact of coaching within organisations, drawing upon both global data as well as some valuable statistics and experiences local to Jersey.

The session then proceeds to share valuable insights into how coaching can be leveraged as a strategic resource to facilitate more effective change management and enhance performance.

Finally, the session will end with a brief panel discussion when there will also be an opportunity to answer some questions from the audience.
