The Jersey Good Business Charter is pleased to present the third in our series of Network gatherings for 2019.
In this event, we focus on the “customer” segment of the charter’s five dimensions, with the theme of how a good business is one which uses its branding, marketing, and communications to inspire trust, build relationship and communicate values.
Our international speaker and local panelists will be exploring this theme in dialogue.
Our Keynote is Rhian Johns. Rhian is the Marketing Lead at EY Global Assurance. She also writes and speaks extensively on the subject on the relationship between branding, authenticity and business ethics.
We also have a panel of local experts who will reflect from their experiences in the Jersey business community and offer practical guidance.
Marketing professionals know that there is much more to a brand than a visual device or logo. A brand symbolically represents the entire business to customer relationship and is a store of expectations and promises between the business and the market of current and future customers.
Increasingly businesses are positioning their brand identity according to ideas about values and virtues. From Nike’s highly acclaimed recent ad campaign to Dove’s rejection of conventional notions of beauty and body image, to the retail banking sector’s shift to an emphasis on relationships and community, brands are competing to signal to their customers and the wider market that they mean good business.
To explore these themes we will also hear from three local business leaders who have engaged deeply with these questions at a practical level in their own Jersey context.
Learn with us how getting your brand and communications is a matter of authenticity and reflective of your business purpose. There will be plenty of experience, wisdom and successful case studies to expand your knowledge and tools.
